Když jsem viděl Learjety v měřítku 1:144 od KP, objednal jsem si dva. Jeden jsem vyrobil pro svého dobrého přítele Dietera, který v minulosti s Learjety létal. Neměl žádné obrázky, ale ukázal mi D-CQAJ, který měl podobný nátěr. Tak jsem pro něj vyrobil tento. Do vlastní sbírky jsem si vybral žlutý ze skandinávské letecké záchranné služby, který stavebnice umožňuje vyrobit (jedno ze tří atraktivních zbarvení). Na 3D tiskárně jsem vyrobil jednoduché kokpity a doplnil je figurkami pilotů. D-CQAJ měl některé úpravy (prodloužené klapky, přihrádku pod ocasem [možná měl v dřívějším životě naviják pro vlekání cílů], větší koncové nádrže), které jsem modelu také dal. Na oba Learjety jsem přidal antény. Obtisky pro D-CQAJ jsem si vytiskl sám, ale mohl jsem použít okna z obtiskového archu dodávaného se stavebnicí. Oba modely jsem nabarvil emaily od firmy Revell (štětcem) a zalakoval bezbarvým lakem od Mr. Hobby. Výroba tohoto malého Learjetu mě velmi bavila! Pro obrázky jsem použil několik fotografií z mnichovského letiště. Modely jsem jednoduše umístil před obrazovku.
When I saw the Learjets in 1:144 from KP, I ordered two of them. One I made for my good friend Dieter, who flew Learjets in the past. He didn´t have any pictures, but he has shown me the D-CQAJ, which had a similar painting. So I made this one for him. For my own collection I chose the yellow one from the Scandinavian Air Ambulance, the kit allows to make (one of three attractive paint schemes). I made simple cockpits with my 3D-printer and added pilot figures. The D-CQAJ had some modifications (extended flaps, a compartment below the tail [maybe it had a winch for towing targets in a former life], larger tiptanks), I also gave to the model. I added some antennas to both Learjets. The decals for the D-CQAJ I printed by my own, but I could use the windows from the decal sheet coming with the kit. Both models are painted with enamels from Revell (brush) and sealed with clear varnish from Mr.Hobby. I enjoyed a lot making this tiny Learjets! For the pictures I used some photos I shot from the airport of Munich. I simply placed the models in front of the screen.
